Mission

The mission of the MDSL is to create a positive youth soccer experience for tsoccer players in the State of Maryland that allows them to excel on and off the field. To enhance this experience, we offer 10 youth soccer tournaments annually and 4 league seasons allowing the program to operate all year around.

• the MDSL also strives to encourage players to focus on technical player development, sportsmanship, as well as to create an overall positive competitive environment that allows for appropriate levels of competition for all players. Development over winning is our objective and at no time should winning precede development;

• to create a fun and positive experience for players, families, coaches, and officials to generate a life-long love for the game of soccer/futsal. The sport is also used as an avenue to teach kids life-lessons;
• to afford mobility of players within club teams to have competitive and developmental balance.

The MDSL is travel/competitive soccer with “more soccer…and alot less travel.”
