Tournaments

The MDSL offers a series of tournaments throughout the year to support the league. The objectives of the tournaments vary but caters to all playing levels made of teams mostly in the D.C., MD, and VA region. Teams from outside of the region are welcomed to attend our tournaments to experience the level of play that the DMV has to offer.

So regardless of your team’s playing level, we have a tournament for you and all of our tournaments are operated in the GotSport system. Meaning, that when you attend one of our tournaments that you can accumulate points if you win or even finish as a finalist. So it is important that your team has a GotSport profile that it can carry throughout the life of the team. This will help to accumulate points from other GotSport tournaments.

In addition to tournaments, we also offer Scrimmagefests for teams just looking to play without the pressure of scores, standings, or trophy and medals on the line. Our Scrimmagefests tend to occur during the pre-season and post-season of league play and it is a good way for your team to get their first or last kicks of a season.
