2024 Summer League
June 22 – August 11, 2024
(U-8 – U-13)
The MDSL returns for the Year #2 of the Summer League. All games will be played between Silver Spring and Gaithersburg in Montgomery County, MD.
The season is for 4-6 weeks and teams will play 8 games. The games will be played on both Saturdays and Sundays at White Oak Recreation (Silver Spring) and Nike Missile Local Park (Gaithersburg).
The U-7 (2017) – U-13 (2011) divisions will run from June 22 – August 11, 2024. This is a great way for the players to stay in form then take a mini-break before the start of their fall season.
Typically competitive level teams play during the summer, however, the season is open to all teams. At the end of the season, Champion and Finalist medals and trophies (Champions only) will be issued in addition to individual awards for each division: Most Valuable Player, Best Goalkeeper, Best Striker, Best Midfielder, and Best Defender.
For registration and scheduling we use GotSport and there is a $25 discount per team for clubs who register 4 or more teams. You will need to register and we will send you an invoice so select Check/MO.
*Note – the league holds the right to adjust divisions accordingly depending on the number of teams registered.

Playing Format:
- No Heading (U-7 – U-11)
- Zero (0) Referees per match for U-7.
- One (1) Referee per match for U-8 – U12.
- Three (3) Referees per match for U-13 and up.
Block scheduling will be available. We will also offer double coach scheduling preference to de-conflict games.
CARDING. All players must be rostered and carded in US Youth Soccer. The referees WILL check rosters and cards before each game.
