I. Overview
The Summer Breakout Scrimmagefest is a one-day event designed to give youth travel teams a fun, low-cost opportunity to kick off pre-season training.
- Teams are guaranteed 3 games per day (30 minutes each).
- U-9 – U-10 play on Saturday, August 15, 2026 (7v7).
- U-11 – U-12 play on Sunday, August 16, 2026 (9v9).
Unlike a typical tournament, this scrimmagefest is short, competitive, and affordable—roughly one-third the cost of a standard tournament entry.
This event is ideal for coaches to test lineups, player positions, and tactical strategies while giving players game experience before the fall season.

V. Check-In & Waiver
All check-in must be done online via GotSport by uploading the required documents:
No state-approved rosters or player passes are required. Simply upload the documents in GotSport and your team is ready to play.
VI. Competition Details
- Number of Games: 3 per team, 30 minutes each
- Format: 7v7 for U-9/U-10; 9v9 for U-11/U-12
- Scoring: Results will be recorded, and trophies/medals awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams
- Venue: Liberty Sports Park, Upper Marlboro, MD (or TBD)
- Playing Level: Travel teams only
