⚽ Overview
The MDSL Winter Futsal League enters its 4th year, offering an exciting, fast-paced indoor futsal season for U-8 through High School boys and girls teams.
- Open to Classic and Travel-level teams
- 7–8 guaranteed games + playoffs
- Teams flighted by competitive level (Division 1, Division 2, etc.)
- Champion & Finalist medals awarded
Clubs registering 4 or more teams receive a $25 discount per team (select Check/MO in GotSport to receive an invoice with the discounted rate).
All fees must be paid in full by December 15, 2025.

Teams are encouraged to consider two entries if rosters exceed 12–14 players to ensure adequate playing time.

- Travel teams: Must upload an approved state roster in GotSport.
- Classic teams: Must submit:
- Player birth certificates
- Liability waivers
- MDSL roster (if not part of another Classic league)
- Mixed-club teams: Follow Classic team documentation rules.
- Roster freeze: After Game #3

Games may be scheduled 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., primarily on Saturdays & Sundays.
Friday games may be added for make-ups.
Some doubleheaders may occur based on coach conflicts, referees, and facility availability.

📧 Justin Reid, League Director of Futsal — jreid@mdslsoccer.com - Schedule changes should be limited after December 27, 2025. Meaning no block changes. If a game or two needs to be changed then that is fine, however, no block changes will be honored.
- MDSL reserves the right to adjust divisions based on team registration numbers.

🌤️ Weather Policy
Inclement weather or school closures may require schedule adjustments. MDSL will make every effort to reschedule all affected matches, which may include doubleheaders or Friday games. If we are unable to re-schedule a match due to a lack of gym availability and/or teams not being available if matches were to be played into March, then the games will be scored as 0-0 with both teams gaining a point.
